Our persimmon soaps are made from the extract of a lot of Japanese persimmon fruits. This extract needs to be in high enough concentration so that it is able to get rid of Nonenal on your skin.
Japanese persimmon are expensive and having a lot of extract in each soap is the reason why it costs so much.
It's also why the cheaper persimmon soaps don't work. They use trace amounts of persimmon and instead try to mask the smell by another smell - which doesn't work with the Nonenal smell.
